Jeff Anderson

Our outstanding Swim Professional Jeff Anderson is a native of Philadelphia, who went on to become a varsity swimmer for the University of Arizona. Prior to entering U of A, Jeff showed his swimming prowess by becoming the regional high school Butterfly Champ in 1973.
While swimming for the Wildcats, Jeff was also a scholarship cheerleader on the tenth ranked squad 1978. Jeff began coaching at Mesa CC in 1988, and since then, MCC swimmers annually enjoy coming home with about a third of the medals in our league.
In addition to his Mesa CC accomplishments, Jeff is the swim coach at Dobson High School, where they have been State Champs(1987), State runner ups seven times, and their 4x50 freestyle relay team was #1 in the nation in 1999.
Jeff is a three time winner of the East Valley Swim Coach of the Year, with his latest win coming in 2003.
MCC swim families benefit from many activities beyond the standard swim practices and meets, with events like, the Stroke Clinics, Water Polo/Treat Day Fridays, Sunsplash Day, Bowling Nights, Diamondback Nights, and the ever popular Canyon Lake Day.
Jeff can be found at the pool nearly every day during swim season, molding another group of swimmers into solid competitors.
