Head Golf Professional Scott Wright has been a PGA Member since October 1999, and has been a part of the golf business for the past thirteen years. Born in St. Andrews, Scotland, to Scottish parents, Scott was introduced to the game at a very young age and has a deep love and respect for the history and traditions of the game of golf.

Scott played college golf at Louisiana Tech University, where he earned All Conference Honors his senior year. In 2002, he achieved a lifelong dream of competing in a PGA Tour event, by qualifying for and competing in the 2002 FBR Open.

He credits working at a variety of golf facilities as having had a positive impact on his career thus far. Scott started his professional golf career at PGA National Golf Club in Florida, and has also been employed at Saucon Valley Country Club in Pennsylvania, Superstition Mountain Golf and Country Club, and San Marcos Golf Resort in Chandler.

Growing the game of golf is one of Scott’s true passions. He enjoys conducting Junior Golf Programs and is planning to establish a program for beginning golfers. Scott emphasizes to his students that first and foremost they have to have fun when playing golf, while stressing the importance of golf course etiquette and the rules of golf.

Scott’s main responsibilities include the day to day operation of the golf department, such as; tournament management, teaching, junior golf, merchandising of the golf shop, and playing golf with the members. Please stop by the golf shop to say hello to Scott and his staff.
